Shipping information
Here at April & the Bear we work hard to find the best delivery service for every product we sell. All charges are based on the weight, size and quantities of the items ordered. All products are dispatched from our base in Dublin 6 via courier within 3 working days (excluding made to order items and our larger furniture items).

Returns + Breakages
At April and the Bear we want you to love every item you buy, so we know that from time to time you may like to return an item.
ONLINE ORDERS - If you would like to make a return, we ask you get back to us with this decision within 5 days of receiving your delivery. We must be informed via email BEFORE you send.
Once the return has been approved by A&TB, the product must be received in by us within 1 week from that date or it will not be accepted. All items must be returned in the same condition and packaging they were sent in — otherwise a full exchange / refund will not be possible. Always contact us before returning a product as it will be rejected otherwise — contact us at shop@aprilandthebear.com
CUSTOM/ MADE TO ORDER FURNITURE – Any goods which are custom/ made to order cannot be returned for a refund unless faulty. This does not affect your rights, see here.
IN STORE - All purchases made in store can be returned within 28 days of purchase.
Also please note, if you availed of our Free Shipping Over €100 when placing your order — when you return the order/ part order, the shipping cost will come out of your refund amount.
Breakages: Please ensure that you open your order upon arrival and check for breakages. We need to be informed of any issues within 5 days of you receiving your order.
Terms
The cost of returning the goods is your responsibility.
You are responsible for packaging the return appropriately.
Any items which arrive back broken due to insufficient packaging will not be refunded.
Personalised or custom order items are non-refundable unless damaged or faulty.
Deliveries
**COVID 19 **
The pandemic has moved much business online and so delivery services are under more pressure than before, this may increase lead times and deliveries - Please bear this in mind, thank you.
Furniture / Fragile Items
Many of our furniture pieces are sourced from Europe and therefore once ordered take up to 4-12 weeks to get delivered.
Please note that the larger items and more fragile items (eg. Circum Mirrors) in our store are sent with specialist couriers and need to be sent to an address where a signee can take in the piece between 9 - 5pm Monday to Friday. Parcels that need to be re-directed due to no-one being at address will incur additional shipping charges.
Our large furniture orders cost significantly more to ship hence a delivery charge will incur - this will depend on weight, size and quantity of item and area it is being delivered to.
Please note that furniture is delivered by one man/woman to your front door or entrance to apartment (or as close to your home as possible) - this is for insurance reasons. If you require your furniture delivered into your home or into a specific room - please call us and let us know before delivery as this will incur a higher fee.
