D I Y - How to Make a Fragrant Wreath

As the leaves continue to fall and the days get shorter still - I think it's safe to say that the Festive Season is nearly upon us!

With this in mind and a full harvest of lavender in hand - we decided to create an easy fragrant wreath for the front door to kick off the season - here's how we made it.

You'll need:

  • Wire Wreath Ring (your local florist will sell these, alternatively grab a wire hanger and bend into shape!)

  • Lavender (or a similar fragrant plant like rosemary)

Grab your wire ring and start to wind lavender around the wire. It's important to weave the stem and flower around and through the ring so that the lavender doesn't fall out. Try to keep the flowers at the top and as prominent as possible for a prettier wreath.

Continue to layer more and more flowers into the wreath - until all spaces are completely filled, after which I would suggest layering in E V E N more, as flowers/herbs dry out they become thinner - so the fuller the wreath the longer it will last.

And you're done! How easy was that? Pop yours on the wall or on the front door for a fun, seasonal look.
