Our clients, Luke & Olwyn, first approached us during the summer of 2023 – they had undergone the tricky process of purchasing their first home in a place that they hold dear to their heart; a quaint, artisanal cottage located in Stoneybatter, Co. Dublin.

The property was dark and dated, the internal layout made the space feel far from functional – so we focused on reconfiguring it to align more with how they live on a day to day basis.

At the front of the home, privacy and letting natural light into the home was a priority, so we created a front hallway/corridor with crittall-style doors – giving the home privacy from the street. We used space saving pocket doors which recessed into the walls, the reeded glass panels on the doors let natural light pass through to the central living space.
